There are good opportunities for exciting excursion destinations within 15 minutes drive: Terrariet Vissenbjerg, Ditlevsdal Bison Farm, Danmarks FugleZOO and Humlemagasinet with its exhibitions, museums and gardens. The classic excursion destinations on Funen are Odense with i.a. HC Andersens Hus, Odense Zoo and Brandt Klædefabrik. To the south is Egeskov Castle, which is worth a visit for all ages - both with a motorcycle exhibition, labyrinth and the park and gardens. Funen, however, has much else to offer, and from Hotel Vissenbjerg Storkro it is not far to either Svendborg or Kerteminde.
